Workshop "Research uses of high-precision census samples"
Barcelona, 9th-10th July 2008
Organized by Centre d'Estudis Demogràfics in Collaboration with the Minnesota Population Center.
Workshop Goals
- promote IECM database
- promote good use of anonymized, integrated census microdata samples
- prepare ground work for next 5 year proposal to National Institute of Ageing
- facilite close relations with statistical agency partners

Wednesday, July 9 - European Population Conference, 2008 July 9-11, Barcelona, Spain17:00 - 19:00h Arrival, greeting of participants, payment of flight expenses and perdiems. (Hotel Catalonia-Duques de Bergara)
19:00h End of the working day. (Participants are invited to dinner at various restaurants throughout the city)
19:30h Guided walk from hotel to Catalunya square, take green line (Canyelles direction) to Mundet metro station, and then 2 minutes walk form subway to Hotel Alimara
20:00 - 20:30h Official EPC Opening Ceremony. (Hotel Alimara)
20:30h Welcome cocktail
21:30 - 22:00h Return to the hotel by subway
